Funds raised support the Meghan’s Light mission and premier program, 65 Wellness Wishes, which awards health-focused grants to cystic fibrosis patients at Baystate Medical Center, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Mass General Hospital. The number “65” references sixty-five roses, a term used since 1965 by young children with cystic fibrosis trying to pronounce the name of their disease. Over 700 wishes have been granted since its inception. The program honors Meghan’s lifelong passion for fitness. The mission of Meghan’s Light is to support finding a cure for cystic fibrosis and to inspire hope and courage in patients, families and communities impacted by the disease.
